Shape tool fun!

A couple of characters from a project I was working on at Sony. I did the rough on animation paper, scanned it, then cleaned it up with the shape tool in Photoshop. I was just getting the hang of the tool at the time.

This is a slightly different take on the the same characters. I had a little more confidence with the shape tool.

Thanks!!! They were fun. If I had it all to do over again, I would put a gray background behind them to "pop" the whites. They kind of blend in.

Hey there!
My name is Thomas, and I'm teaching myself animation, with great help from John K's blogs:)
You got some great stuff here... A shame that there isn't more than two posts, would love to see more:)

I wondered, what is that shape tool in photoshop? Maybe it's me who hasn't discovered it hehe...
But I would like to know what it is...

Cheers
